Mr Tyre carry out MOT tests on cars & light vans
An MOT test is something every vehicle has to take, usually annually, to ensure certain features are in good working order for the safety of yourself and other road users. At Mr Tyre, we perform MOT testing in accordance with DVSA standards on class 4 vehicles (cars & light commercial vehicles up to 3000kg). We do not currently offer MOTs for class 7 vehicles.
If your MOT certificate is not up to date, you could face legal action, unless you are taking it to an MOT test centre or taking it away to be repaired after an MOT failure. At our dedicated branches you’ll get nothing but honest, friendly advice from our technicians on what is best for your vehicle, preventing you from falling foul of the law.

Once your MOT test is complete, we’ll inform you if any faults or areas of weakness are identified.
If any weak points or issues have been identified, some will require immediate correction to make sure your vehicle is legally-compliant and roadworthy. With less serious issues, we may suggest repairs that will improve the performance of your car, or avoid issues further along the line if we can foresee a fault developing. We always consult with you first before performing any type of repair work.
